How do I get started?

Do you store my OpenAI or DeepL API key on your servers?

No. Your API key is stored encrypted in wp_options on your own WordPress installation. The plugin makes API calls directly from your server to the provider — we never see your key, your prompts or your translated content. You can revoke the key any time from your provider’s dashboard.
How does the OpenAI Batch API save 50% on costs?

OpenAI offers a Batch API that processes large jobs asynchronously (within 24 hours) at half the cost of synchronous requests. WPAK-Übersetzen uses this transparently for bulk site translations: you launch the batch from the dashboard, the plugin segments it by content type, then polls every 5 minutes via WP-Cron and applies results when ready.
